$1000 for a 1GB sd card?! That's unbelievable! You can find 1GB sd cards for $50 and this guy sell theirs for $1000! Are those cards covered by gold?

Which of the following sentences are correct? Please give a short reason for your answer to sentence #2.

1: $1000 for a 1GB sd card?!   -OR-   $1000 for a 1GB sd card!?

2: Are those cards covered by gold?   -OR-  Are those cards covered in gold?

I'm more familiar with seeing the ?! in that order.

I would say "covered with gold" but of the two you suggest, I would use "in."
