 actually this one's a joke...gold is measured in carrats and in order to make this one a joke they change it to carrot...

The Carat, or Karat, is a measure of the purity of gold, where 24 carat is pure (but very soft). Not to confused with the carat of gemstones, which is the size, equal to 200 milligrams (0.2g).
