 #1 amidst/amid  - "Mid" is really pretty much obsolete, occasionally met in poetry.

 There is no difference between the two forms.

How about make her die/make she die ? and we use have her dead or have her die ( have she/her dead/die ) ?

 It is not clear what you are expressing in these sentences.

If you do something to someone, you need the accusative = her

I saw her yesterday

I wrote to her last week 

I made her ill by giving her bad fish to eat

 

If someone does something, you need the nominative: she

She wrote to me last week.

She saw me today 

 She is ill because I gave her bad fish to eat
