How would you say number 4 then?

 

 

Possibly you could say:

 

"The sentence above is talking about the difference between fictional time (the time elapsed in the characters' fictional lives) and screen time (the time taken to portray events on screen)."

 

There may be a better way of saying this. You could lose the explanations in brackets if you think it's clear without them.

sorry I meant 3  In a movie, 5 minutes of the characters time isn't 5 whole minutes, It's not minute for minute.     OK      THE MINUTE FOR MINUTE PART
