Hence, I kindly request you to grant me 4 days leave from 17^th of March, 2008 to 24^th of March, 2008.(Disregarding the Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Saturday and Sunday; these are a non working days)

 Hi! pls help me to make a vacation leave. I was newly hired but before the interview i already informed the HR that im having a family reunion this coming May.

This is the sample of my letter and i want to insert in my letter that i already told about the said occassion before i get hired.

 I would like to request permission for a leave of absence effective from  May 5, 2008 to May 9, 2008.

Because im going to attend a family reunion in Cebu. (i dont know wha's next to my sentence)
