With a gun in hand,A hunter went into a forest.and the scared wild birds (hearing the noise)____________.

I want to use a phrase to describe that the scared birds flies around  aimlessly.

how is it said by a native speaker?

...hearing the noise, the birds scattered.

You might even place an adverb after scattered to describe further how they scattered.

Thanks again!

I googled the words  and find out the answer :

The sound echoed through the forest the birds scattered  from their trees,

How about 'dispersed in all directions'? Does that mean the same?

Kejcam,
Yes, it means the same but to me scatter is probably a better choice here.  It gives the reader a better 'picture.'

How about something like "The sound echoed through the forest and the bird scattered from their trees, flapping their wings into the sky."

To err is human, to forgive divine. 잘못을 저지르는 것은 인간이지만 용서할수있는 것은 하늘과 같은것.

Much depends on the kind of bird...
