Adverbs not only modify verbs, they also modify adjective and another adverb, but never nouns.
The tamale was so extremely deliciously hot that I was enjoying every bite with tears Adv- adv –adjective modification.
The pool is comfortably heated to 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Adverb – passive participle adjective modification.
The new mall was conveniently located near two major freeway off ramps. Adv.- verb modification.
