Do adverbs solely describe verbs? Can they also describe a noun?
For example:
Extremely hot?
I know that the whole sentence should be:  The weather is extremly hot ; A phrase in which the 'is' is refered to as a verb, yet the adbverb  solely describes the noun

I will REALLY appreciate any corrections to my posts, whether it be grammar, glossary, or just something that could elevate my style. Thank you.

Hi WesternAmerican.

Adverbs not only modify verbs, they also modify adjective and another adverb, but never nouns.

The tamale was so extremely deliciously hot that I was enjoying every bite with tears  Adv- adv –adjective modification.

The pool is comfortably heated to 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Adverb – passive participle adjective modification.

The new mall was conveniently located near two major freeway off ramps.  Adv.- verb modification.
