If you are suffering from high stress levels, or wish to wind down after a trying day, it is generally advisable to have a change of __.

A. place        B. location        C. scene        D. sight

Please tell me which word is the most suitable for this sentence and explain why.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'

Well, this question is from my last English test. I chose sight but I was unsure. A change of place, I think, implies a change of job or position for a better one. But a change of sight also sounds unsuitable to me. The other two choices, I think they cannot be used here.

Watch out for these kinds of questions-- the lack of an article suggests that it might be an idiom-- and indeed it is.  A change of scene is a common way to relax.

Well I'm very surprised. I've never heard of it.

Thank you very much Mister Micawber
