Hi,

Is this sentence with a rather peculiar verb form right?

I have two great kids who hero-worship me.

Is "hero-worship'; a verb? If it is, is it right to use a dash to connect the two words, "hero" and "worship"?

If it is a verb, the hyphen is appropriate, and according to several dictionaries, it is indeed a verb.  I don't much like it, though.
