Diplomacy and tactà 250 words
The task consists in replying to a letter of a person you don’t know. This person called Agatha has been asked to take care or Attilla, a cat. You have taken care of it last summer but it caused some problems, which Agatha heard about (you have to tell her honestly about them but avoiding to change her mind about taking the animal as you don’t want to). I have written an informal letter because Agatta’s one was like that but you don’t know this person so I don’t know how informal I can be.

Dear Agatha,
Thanks for your letter about Attila. I’m not sure what you’ve heard about my experiences with the cat but I can assure you that our fortnight together wasn’t that awful. Honestly, I must admit that I found a few problems taking care of Attila, but within a few days I learnt how to deal with him.
The very first days Attila was all the day sat in the sofa scratching at everyone who dared to enter into the living room. At the end I discovered that Attila was just claiming for attention, all he needed was a pinch of love so I started to give him regularly his favourite meet (Sandra will tell you about it) and within three days the cat behaved as every lovely pet.
Another problem you might have heard about is the one related with police. I should start saying that my neighbour is hypochondriac and is constantly thinking about death. She now gets on well with Attila but before getting to know each other she heard a noise near her plants. She thought there was somebody threatening her so she immediately phoned to police station. As you can imagine the shock in my neighbour was not Attila’s fault as he was just walking through the garden as every cat does.
All in all, the experience was not that bad, I enjoyed Attila’s visit but, unfortunately, my life is so busy at the moment that I won’t be able to take care of him during this summer. I hope that you haven’t changed your mind about taking Sandra’s pet during the holidays.
