Thanks a lot!

I've been told about murphy's grammar. I went to a book shop to look
for it...and as i imagined i found a huge amount of grammar books... so
i didn't know which one was the best or the most useful for me. I
glanced at it and i thought it was good and practical but then i found
out the Advanced grammar in use, by Cambridge too, and the author was
Martin Hewings. So i decided to buy the advanced one because i wanted
to have some tips about things i didn't know about grammar and i think
this is the right one (hopefully i'll be right...). Unfortunately it's
not the edition with the cd like the intermediate one, but anyway i
think that it's better to read and study on a proper book as 8 hours a
day in front of a pc are enough...!
And about the swan's grammar, i thought it was...too thick and
expensive but maybe it was worth buying it as well because it was well
organized. Anyway, i think the next book will be an exercise book with
keys, just to practice and understand what are the mistakes i make more
often!
Thanks again
Ciao
