Hi all,

I'm a first-time poster to this forum and I'd like to find friends here. Let me introduce myself - I'm from Russia, 24 years old, a traslator (English, German). Actually I hadn't had very extensive experience in talking to native English speakers, though I've been working as a translator for quite a time now. Hope I can find conversable interlocutors here What is great here is that there is a section for poetry and prose - I find some pieces really impressive. May be I'll contribute a bit to this collection

Hello fair Lady from Russia

The whole of today I have had these lyrical poetical words whirling around my head. As it is easter and I am in the west, the words are apt today: The lyrics were written by Simple Minds a Glaswegian band a while back.
