Please bring(a) or (an) hors d'oeuvre. Which word is correct before a word beginning with a silent h.? Thank you in advance for your help.

An, because it begins with an 'or' sound. This is, however, a French word so I may be wrong!
Any French speakers out there?

oui, mike! foreign words are always tricky, but an hors d'oeuvre sounds better. (but god knows english speakers really mangle the pronunciation of oeuvre!)
