Hi, I'd like to ask you about the following sentence.

(1) I tried to make up for lost time.

(2) I tried to make up for my lost time.

(3) I tried to make up for the lost time.

Among (1),(2) and (3), which sounds most natural?

Is there any difference in meaning among them?

(1) is by far the most common. I'm not sure I've ever heard either of the others in everyday speech.
