Hello and welcome to this topic. I was wondering if anyone of you able and competent English speakers could be so kind as to correct my English, and find any grammatical irregularities or odd phrasings.

Thanks beforehand,

Ben

Many women get in a good mood when they go out for shopping. But some women’s shopping trips gradually develop into shopping sprees that can be compared to other types of addiction and abuse. The pharmaceutical industry in the USA has already developed a pill which helps against the oniomania. A Danish psychologist believes on the other hand that it is nonsense to be able to cure the mania with a pill. Since, according to him, it is purely a psychological issue that has coincidently become an economical problem. By buying new things all the time, one tries to brace one’s self-esteem. Naturally, it does not pay off for the addicted, and the consequence is often an economic and human regression.
