Hello
How can we ask a question to learn the rank of George Bush Jr. in the list of American presidents?
I hope it is not that easy, or I will be really embarrassed.
Thank you

The problem is, I don't know what you mean by rank-- do you mean his place in the sequence of presidents, that he is the 43rd President of the US? If so (and I think there is already a lengthy thread on this topic buried somewhere):
'Which President/What number President is George W. Bush?' (he is not G.B, Jr., by the way-- his father's name is different: Geo. H.W. Bush.)
There were several other answers to this one, as I recall.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'

That is what I meant. Thank you.
By the way, here in Turkey, papers mention the former Bush ans "father Bush". So I thought we can call him "Junior Bush".
Thanks anyway.

You could try, Pieanne-- I would understand you, certainly.
'Junior', if it is used, is a formal part of the given name, Seyf:
John Smith (who can change his signature to 'John Smith, Sr.' when his namesake is born)
John Smith, Jr. (John Smith Sr.'s son)
John Smith III (John Jr.'s son)
John Smith IV (and so forth)
I believe that 'John Smith II' is reserved for John Sr.'s nephew or other lateral relative.
