If so (and I think there is already a lengthy thread on this topic buried somewhere): 'Which President/What number President is George W. Bush?' (he is not G.B, Jr., by the way-- his father's name is different: Geo. H.W. Bush.) There were several other answers to this one, as I recall. 'Junior', if it is used, is a formal part of the given name, Seyf: John Smith (who can change his signature to 'John Smith, Sr.' when his namesake is born) John Smith, Jr. (John Smith Sr.'s son) John Smith III (John Jr.'s son) John Smith IV (and so forth) I believe that 'John Smith II' is reserved for John Sr.'s nephew or other lateral relative.
