Hello,

I would like to ask you about the right collocation in the following sentence:

The book  covers a wide RANGE of topics related to homeopathy.

Why is 'collection' not a viable option? It just doesn't collocate with 'topic'?

Thank you for your answers!

Hi,

collection - Suggets that someone has already collected or selected them.

range - Suggests 'Here are a lot of topics that are available for you to select from'.
