HI, I just came up with a basic question.

About adverbs, I know they modify verbs and adjs.

Can they also modify Be-verbs??

What do they modify when in sentences such as below:

" I am actually a teacher. "

" It's obviously his fault. "

Are they correct?? What do advs. here modify??

Although I've been studying English for years, sometimes, I still find it really confusing...

Well...nobody answered...are they completely wrong??

Sorry for answering my own question.

I did search on the internet and some people actually say in that way.

Please..at least someone tells me what went wrong.

Thanks!

I'm kind of embarrassed now.. : )

Hi,

Don't feel that way. Idiots are people who need answers but don't ask questions.

Please feel free to ask about anything else that is difficult for you.
