Your question is very general (vague), but I'll try to help a little.

1.  With have/has to form the present perfect tense:  I have eaten, she has arrived, they have gone

2.  As an adjective:  the door is closed, the water is purified

I do agree with Philip.

Just add "after 'had' " (past perfect tense): "they had already eaten when I arrived".

And to form the passive voice, too, after 'be': "the bridge was built in 1880"
