In my country - Poland surgeons can training in the following specializations: general, oncology, chest, pediatric, vascular and plastic surgery; additionally we  ve got neuro and cardiosurgery. As regards traumatology and orthopedic there are connected in one.
Is it the same system in your country? How is in UK?
