About "yours sincerely"

I konw the phrase is written at the end of a letter, but who can tell me the meaning of it in detail?

Something to the effect of  I am genuinely your servant.  It is merely a formulaic closing.

You can think of it as 'with sincerity'  = sincerely  but it is simply a formulaic closing as Mister Micawber said.
