This is an abstract about betterments done in a panel radiator manufacturer company. It mentions the time and method studies. The abstract is for a graduation thesis in industrial engineering department.
ABSTRACT
This work includes time study and method study workinds which was done at a radiator manufacturer. In this work; Ares, is being manufactured in company, radiators’ manufacturing processes have been analysed. Information about Ares products’ manufacturing processes have been got.
In work study research content, work elements that forms manufacturing process have been analysed. Time study have been done for each work elements at sandpapering workshop and finish assembling welding workshop. As a result of the works done, standart times have been calculated for sandpapering and welding workshops.
As a result of analysing product’s manufacturing process meticulously are there work elements that can be combined or make better in the method study content have been analysed. Some betterments have been done in the process. By reason of betterments in the manufacturing process the standart time required for manufacturing have been recalculated.
In conclusion existing state and proposed state have been compared and benefits for company about standart times by betterments have been specified.
