Hello there

I just finished one letter with the great assistance of MountainHiker and a Guest (Thanks again!). Smile [:)]

Here we go again: I have another enquiry and seek someone's assistance.

As I am applying at a university I have to submit two references.
My prof. asked me to prepare an English text on the basis on a prior German reference.

In Germany there a special phrases and terms which are used in references. Looking up all the single words doesn’t really help as there are too many meanings and I am not sure which translation would be appropriate.

I already searched the English Forums but I couldn’t find examples.

Does someone know an internet page where I could look up the common phrases concerning reference letters? Or could you just paste a few common phrases?

I fell a little bit uncomfortable tp post the whole text - you never know... I really don’t want my Prof to read his text here.

Thanks a lot!
Nadine

Hey Nadine,

I haven't heard from you in a long time, lol.

Send me your prof's stuff privately. Then I will be better able to respond.

Send your stuff to mountainhiker @ 138 mail.com . You need to eliminate spaces. The spaces are there to fool the spam bots.

I look forward to seeing your material, and then we'll work from there.

I don't speak any German, so try your best at the translation and I will try to help?
