Please correct the following text:

I didn't intend to offend anyone. I do accept that the tone of my article is somewhat bitter. It's partly because of my limited knowledge of English language  and partly because of the controversial nature of the topic. On the other hand, the things I said are a harsh truth for some people, of course, not for all. I challenge you to show me one instance from my article where I said something bad about your religion. It's not the religion which is under discussion, it's the strayed followers of the religion.

The scripture of any religion is not just a compendium of some sets of rules rather it covers a broad spectrum of human activities and sets forth guidance to lead a pious and morally pure life. If you follow those rules and teachings with understanding, a civilized society will come into being. But following them blindly and without any understanding will lead to a path where at some point you would not be able to find a right direction and you will be left alone on a wrong path. The point is that all the religions need you to explore yourself intellectually and have tolerance and rational thinking. Do you consider a murder a punishable act because it has been described as such in your scripture? Of course, not. There is something inside you which make you consider it a punishable act...

Your first mistake is the color scheme you use. It hurts my
eyes! Try the colors of MS Word 5.5 for MSDOS.

"But following them blindly and without any understanding will
lead to a path where at some point you would not be able to
find a right direction and you will be left alone on a wrong
  path."

First you use "will", then "would", use will in both places to
  make teses agree.

It should be "the right direction", dont't you think so?

"The point is that all the religions need you to explore..."

Maybe "require of you to...", or "require of their followers
  to..."

  "Do you consider a murder"

I'd use it without "a" to refer to the act of murder generally.

EDIT: " The point is that all the religions need you to
  have tolerance and rational thinking."

Is religion compatible with rational thinking?

  EDIT2:
Also consider using "_the_ wrong path". If you mean the wrong
path is following the scriptures blindly and like a robot,
then there's only one certain wrong way.
