Hi,
I appreciate and understand your sensible comment.
However, here's my personal assessment as a teacher. We receive many, many of these questions about shipping/delivering/invoicing, and we answer them all.. Yet no questions are ever asked (or at least I don't remember any) about our edits and suggested changes, and the same kinds of errors seem to be repeated again and again. In other words, and without meaning this as an unkind remark, I don't see any evidence that the anonymous poster(s) is learning anything or improving their English at all.
I, and I'm sure other people, would be very happy to spend our time with the anonymous poster in a series of productive discussions that would help him/her improve his English in a more effective way.
eg We could look at a very simple scenario like a late shipment of TV sets. The poster could offer some sentences about this, perhaps to explain to the customer. We could correct them. The poster could then ask questions about our corrections, and try to write some more sentences.
In other words, we could engage in a dialogue about English. After all, that's what we commonly do with most of the other people who post here, and the result is that people's English often seems to improve.
Anonymous poster who ships/delivers/invoices - I'm uncomfortable talking about you without your participation in this discussion. What do you think about all this? What is the best way for us to help you to improve your English? Please don't be afraid to give us your thoughts about this. We only want to help you. ![Smile [:)]](/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
Best wishes again, Clive
