Hi teachers,
I wonder whether IN ACCORDANCE,ACCORDING TO , IN LINE WITH,and IN COMPLIANCE WITH  have the same meaning.

They stopped their bikes according to/in accordance with /in line with /inconformity with /in compliance with  the traffic law.
They fulfilled their obligations according to/in accordance with /in line with /inconformity with /in compliance with  the signed contract .

Thank you in advance

To my mind, a couple of your options are too informal or generic for the contexts.  I suggest:

They stopped their bikes in accordance with /in conformity with /in compliance with the traffic law.
They fulfilled their obligations in accordance with /in conformity with /in compliance with the signed contract .

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'

Thank you Mister Micawber , but how about "in line with"? My dictionary says "in line with " means "in accordance with"

Best wishes

Of course it does-- that's why you put it in your list.  But you asked us to sort the list out; please re-read my post.
