Hi,

I am uncertain about what to use for situations like below -- whether to write it adjectivally or make it a possessive?

Welcome to 2008 *** College/High School (or 2008 *** College/High School's??) Drama Contest.

I feel they both are somewhat equally viable as a choice and makes hard pressed to find out which one is the right one.

.
It is not important grammatically---only practically.  If you use the noun as adjective, you don't have to worry about misplaced apostrophes.
