For the second one, a compound predicate means the subject did two things. Which sentence has the subject doing two things?

So C.  because family is the subject that enjoy skiing and snowboarding? I don't know why I'm having such a difficult time understanding this, to me this is so hard.

what about D. isn't kitchen the subject that was cleaned and painted also? so so confusing!!!
