Hi,

I'd really like to know when to use large, big, tall or long.My classmates and I are having a bit of a problem with these adjectives.Could  you help us,please?????

Here are a few quick comments.

Large and big are pretty close in meaning. Very often, you can use either.

Tall refers to vertical height, eg a tall man, a tall building.

Long refers to horizontal length, eg a long road, a long table.

Best wishes, Clive
