Dear all,

I wonder if you need to add "the" before the word "most" as in:

What animal do you like the most? OR
What animal do you like most?

Please advise which one is correct.
Thx soo much in advance. (:D) Big Smile

Since most is not an adjective in your sentences, it's optional. In other words, both sentences are correct. You could also say: What animal do you like [the] best? (I prefer best after like.)
