Don't depend on Microsoft spellcheck all the time. Refer to your dictionary when in doubt.

Take care to spell these two words correctly. In both British and American English, the noun is advice and the verb is to advise.  (The Right Word at the Right Time)

You're right.  It should be  Please advise.

Advise is a verb and advice is a noun. Advise is the action and advice is the content of the that action. My advice is to got for it. I advised you to go for it.

I think it is true and if you check http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/practice, it seems that Webster says it too.
