I've been learning/speaking English for quite a long time. According to my teachers (and myself) I have a very good command at it. However, I've lately been feeling a bit stuck, as if I wasn't satisfied with what I've accomplished, you know. I feel that I need to incorporate more new things, different ways of saying the same thing but do not seem to figure it out how.

Hey teachers, could you give me a piece of advice?

Get a Longman Language Activator, ICU. Its purpose and intent is to help ESLs activate their language with natural sounding everyday language. It's available on CD Rom so you don't have to plow thru a big paper dictionary.

Reading is always good - especially a great variety of books, magazines, and newspapers.
Take down interesting new expressions and make an effort to use them at the earliest possible opportunity.
