Hello,

Can someone give me a hand of this? If you don't tell me I'll kill myself.

Hi, Pastel Smile [:)]
I've been online forever and I need to go now.
Hold on to your "cuddle and kiss" fantasies and try to stay alive until I come back online or someone else posts a response?

What would we do without you?Wink [;)]

hahah, don't kill yourself! Ok, tackling this one...

2-a is correct.

2-b is very commonly used, and nobody would look at you funny if you said it, but to be proper, you need an object in that prepositional phrase. It should be "Talk to you later on today" or something similar.

2-c All you need to make this correct is "A" at the beginning of this sentence..."A few days later, he kissed me"

2-d This one isn't right. The "on" isn't necessary.

2-e This is correct!

2-f This is also correct.

2-g You're right...this sounds like you cuddled first, and then later on you kissed. If you want to say that you did both, you should say, "Later, we cuddled and kissed."

2-h You're right about this one...it's just more clear about the fact that you didn't get any lip action when you were cuddling.

2-i Even more specific. Good job!

Hope this helps you while you're writing your trashy romance novel! :p heheh

Are you sure about this? Would that mean that sentences such as "Try to go further in." are also wrong?

Yep, I'm sure. Unless I've been taught, I 'm pretty sure you should never end a sentence with a preposition. Everybody does it, though, so it's not something anybody really cares about except for grammar Nazis and English teachers.

I agree that that no one follows that old rule about prepositions at the end of sentences. I just wonder if "in" in "further in" and "on" in "further on" are really prepositions.
