It is me again. I am sorry but the format that appears inthe web is very strange. I do not want to complicate the correction, so I post it again.

Hello!

I keep writting cover letters... In every case I have to modify some things depending on the job, but I use the other corrections I have already got from this web (Thank you again). Can please take a look again at this cover letter just to be sure that it is gramatically correct. Any other piece of advice is wellcome.

Thank you very much!

Re: Application for a Position as Research Associate at Mainzer Center.

Dear Sir of Madam,

I am writing in response to your recent advertisement for a Research Associate found in your website. Confidently believing that I match the profile you are looking for, I would like to apply for this position. Attached please find my curriculum vitae for your consideration

I studied law at the University of Paris (France), where I graduated in 1999. Currently I am a criminal law researcher at the University of Hammburg (Germany). At the moment, I am working on my PhD on “trade-off in duress and necessity situations” concerning German and Spanish Law. My doctoral examination is scheduled for October 2005. My research work has been financially supported by various research fellowships and five times awarded. I belong to a wide French research group headed by professors at different Universities in France and promoted by several institutions. This group maintains extensive relationships with other professors and researchers all over the World. Due to my membership in this group, I had the opportunity to research at the Universities of Toulouse (France), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Hamburg (Germany) aimed at obtaining my doctorate in Criminal Law under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mr. Heinz (University of Waldorf) and Prof. Dr. Mr. Rodriguez Rabanos (University of Pasamaneria).

As well as having relevant knowledge and experience, I believe I possess the personal qualities that you ask for in your advertisement. I have excellent communication and organizational skills. During the course of my PhD I have developed my skills to present results clear and concisely. I cooperate as a volunteer at the UNESCO Office in the region of Catalugna (Spain), at the European Law Students' Association, at the Association for Future Education and at the Asociacion Argentina de Ciencias Penales (Argentine Association for Criminal Sciences). Therefore, I consider myself to be well suited for this position.

I am very interested in this position. It would be a great pleasure to work at the Mainzer Center at the University of Mainz and I am confident I would make a substantial and meaningful contribution to a constructive and debating atmosphere. I look forward to hearing from you about meeting for an interview at your convenience.

Sincerely,

Centralita
