Please provide any comments on grammar and content of the following:

Describe the prevailing social, political, and cultural movements during the age of expansion.

 

During the age of expansion, the nation increased in worth in both agricultural and industrial areas becoming one of the most resourceful nations following the Civil War.  Labor was easily found through the use the overwhelming number of immigrants that had migrated from other parts of the world for new opportunities.  Railways were introduced and became a primary means of transportation, though farmlands decreased due to the requirement of lands for building the tracks.  Technology was becoming more widely utilized along with new industries that people could use to their advantage to gain capital.  The overall mindset across the nation was one of optimistic hope.
