Hi all, this issue is involving AIM testing. I am having troubles analysing the writer's technique's used to persuade readers. i have 3 articles. CAN somebody just briefly read over these short articles and analyse the writers technqiue, language and tone used to persuade the reader?. i analysed them my self and i found the writer is more of an informing article and he does use sarcasm and generalisation but i need more techniques. sorry to bother everyone.

article 1 - farrah tomazin

Article 1. Easy to read but it is difficult to remember the information it conveys as the ideas are not concentrated in the same paragraph and it is very poorly connected. I would need to read this text twice in order to remember some of the information it contains.

Article 2. I would find this article the easiest to read on the Internet. However, the text is not clearly organized. It would need some restructuring to make it work more effectively. The sentences as they are make sense but the text as a whole could be easily improved.

Article 3. This text is highy elaborate, with a complex vocabulary and sentence structure but out of focus. It doesn't focus on the ideas it wants to convey. You spend too much time on deciphering what some of the words mean and get lost in the complexity of the sentences. It might put off many potential readers as they would find it really difficult to get the gist of the text.
