These are sometimes really difficult to distinguish for Spanish speakers. I have heard the following sentence in songs but now I have my doubts about which one is correct!
You are all I ever wanted or You are everything I ever wanted.

Maj, both sentences work. In this case, "all" = "everything"
These sentences are meant in a romantic sense. Obviously you want more than just the affection of the other person. Food, shelter and clothing are just some examples.
So I wouldn't take these sentences literally, but rather figuratively in the context in which they are said or sang.
If you are curious about other sources where these phrases are used, try googling "You are all I ever wanted" (quotes included) and "You are everything I ever wanted" (again, quotes included). You will find plenty of examples of both sentences. Have a look around to see the contexts in which they are used.
Hope that helps.
