Hello, teachers!

Please check my thoughts.

1. Coming to school, my car broke down.
- This is incorrect, isn't it?

- The following two are correct and natural, aren't they?
2. As I was coming to school, my car broke down.
3. On my way to school, my car broke down.

But I think "I" come to school, not my car.

No, you are correct.
There is a misunderstanding about the first one. Tongue Tied [:S]
You said "This is incorrect, isn't it?". When I answered "Correct", I was saying that you were correct (in saying the sentence was not correct); I was not saying that the sentence was correct. Smile [:)]
