this is a copy paste of something I found on the internet (it one-ups the five ands):

A variation, if the sign reads "Roland and Andrew: "You haven't got the spaces right between "Rol" and "and" and "and" and "and" and "and" and "And" and "And" and "rew." (Thanks to Philip Taylor)

Ive got one with 8 in a row that works.

 

In a sign reading Ed and Dave and Luke, Dave is between and and and, and and and and (and indeed hand) contain the letters a, n and d.
