Hi,

Dear ***,

With reference to your e-mail of May 5th, I would like to thank you for your interest in my skills. I am very much interested in the opportunity to contribute to (name of company).

I very much regret that I am unable to meet Mr. *** and Mr. yyyyyy in your Verona office on May 11th. at 3pm, as I have a previous appointement in Milan at 12:00 noon. I hope that we will be able to reschedule this. I am free on Friday at 5pm, or look forward to hearing what other date and time are convenient to you.

I apologize for any difficulty this rescheduling may cause, and look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

***

Is it enough formal and polite? I think this is OK. It depends on the tone and register of the email you received from the company.

Best wishes, Clive

In the case they ask only what are the suitable time for Fryday 11, and I can only from the 5 pm, what do you think about something similar:
