Hi there!  Thank you for dedicating me a moment.  Could you please proof read the following paragraph for me.

In the previous chapter, Tom McArthur found it neccesary to cover centuries of linguistic history in order to provide an account of the nature of rhyme.  similarly, my own attempt to implore nonsense, rhyme and word play in young children seems to have taken us all round the houses and down the byways of play, representation and subversion. In the process I have suceeded in convincing myself of the truth of Tom McArthurs claim that children are probably ‘wired’ for rhyme and language play and are ‘relentlessly in love with it all.

Thanx a lot Smile

One sentence does not begin with a capital letter (but ought to).
One word beginning with "s" and one with "n" is misspelt.
An apostrophe is missing.
A quotation mark is opened but not closed.

Thank you for your help.

I've been told that my piece contains 8 errors... Can you spot the rest? I'm having difficulty finding them
