Insert apostrophes as appropriate in the follwoing sentences, or none if none is need.
1. Its too bad that the hospitals policy prohibits patients access to their own medical records.
2. Two sonograms were compatible with a fetus of 30 weeks gestation.
3 .On x-ray examination. the femur showed a fracture in its most distal portion of approximately two weeks duration.
4. Dr. Howards consultation was recieved two days before the pantients surgery was scheduled.
5. Although its clear that the genus has been identified, the species has not.

1. It's too bad that the hospital's policy prohibits patients, erg, that doesn't work. You must prohibit someone from doing something. So do either of these two things:
It's too bad that the hospital's policy prohibits patients from accessing their own medical records.
It's too bad that the hospital's policy limits patients' access to their own medical records.
2. Two sonograms were compatible with a fetus of 30 weeks' gestation.
3. On the X-ray examination, the femur showed a fracture in its most distal portion of approximately two weeks' duration.
(This is ambiguous, though. Do you mean that the femure was fractured two weeks ago? Then say something like, "On the X-ray examination, the femur showed in its most distal portion a fracture that was approximately two weeks old.")
