There's nothing wrong with having it in quotes, as long as you have suitable reason. a "perfect" lists This is not OK. You can't say 'a' with a singular noun. the "perfect" lists This is OK. It just refers to specific lists. "perfect" lists This is OK. It refers in a general way to such lists.
