Hi
Please tell me why I feel uneasy about seeing a case where an article is absent when adjective is in a quote and the noun following is in plural like this. Should the article be used always in cases like this?
the /a ??? "perfect" llists
Perhaps you feel uneasy because you are not sure why the adjective is in quotes. There's nothing wrong with having it in quotes, as long as you have suitable reason.
a "perfect" lists This is not OK. You can't say 'a' with a singular noun.
the "perfect" lists This is OK. It just refers to specific lists.
"perfect" lists This is OK. It refers in a general way to such lists.
