Hi!

I'm not sure if my articles in the title and subtitle are correct. Can you please check it?

LITERATURE SHOULD BE BROUGHT CLOSER TO YOUNG PEOPLE

(study on required reading)

Thank you

The articles? You mean the absence of them!  Smile [:)] Yes, it sounds OK to me. You could even drop the "should be", if the result still carries the intended meaning.

I'm glad to help, but I'm not a native! And please excuse my typos...

Hey P!

Thanks. Yes, I vaguely remember some rules of absence of artcles in titles, but it seems to me that I've seen articles in titles many times. Perhaps I'm wrong...

Well, look at the newspapers' headlines: no articles. The fewer articles, the catchier the title. It then depends on the level of formality...

Dear Sir,

The title is correct. It is better to avoid unnecessary articles in titles.  For the subtitle, it should be 'a study...', otherwise it is confusing.
