How can I easily explain to someone when to use has or as? At present, due to their dialect, they tend to use the word "as" instead of "has" when writing.

I'm sorry I'm not able to offer a solution to your problem.
But I'm intrigued now. What exactly do your students confuse? Is it the meaning of the words? Is it the spelling?
