1. I can see a woman seated at the table.

What is meaning of "at the table". Can it be "on the table"?

It means she is sitting on a chair in front of the table, with her legs under it. Perhaps she is eating.

If she were sitting "on" the table, she would be next to the dishes and the centerpiece. Probably not very attractive. However, some strip clubs allow the dancers to perform "on" the table.
