I've been wondering this for a while but would "Atheist" and "Agnostic" be capitalized? They're technically not religions so it's quite an ambiguous thought.

Another question I have is: Would "Goth" be capitalized when referring to the music genre? Would it be lower-cased when referring to the fashion/subculture?

Not generally.

"Goth" on the other hand derives from the name of a people, so does take a capital letter. Whether that will change will depend on those who use it to discuss the subcultures.

They should not be capitalized.
