It will be interesting to see how this notoriously liberal prosecutor handles this case….!
You'd love Texas.  They keep the executioner really busy down there.

Best wishes,  - A.

Hi,
It's interesting that in the USA the word 'liberal' seems often to be used in a pejorative way.
Best wishes, Clive

I'm glad someone saw it while I was debating whether to stay or go!  Smile  It's getting too off-topic here.  If we don't stick to grammar, we'll have to move the thread to Controversial or lock it or delete it!

Would you believe "always"??

Hi Clive,  At 73, I can just barely recall when it wasn't.   - A.

I am not sure where we want to go with this statement.
The tone of your reply sounded a little sarcasticlly unwelcoming. This is the fact and the reality. I don't want to go too deep into the "capital punishment" topic as this may stir up another round of controversy discussion but I just want to point out,  "Libreal" mentality is a disease in humanity in my opinion. If not, how else can we explain why murders and sex offenders are being protected?   Every time when San Quentin tried to execute a convict sentenced years ago to the ultimate chair for serious murders, there will always be this bunch of people camping out at the gate of the prison protesting the execution for they believe it's wrong to take a human life, or death being  a form of unusualy punishment. I wonder if these people had considered the lives of he murderer had taken?  Morover, I like to know if they still woud protest to save the live of this scumbag had one of his family member is his victim? I apologize to the forum for bring up this news but I make no bones about my views.

Hi guys,

If anyone wants to continue this discussion, I or someone else will move it to 'controversial topics'. I'm sure you'll understand why.

Best wishes, Clive

Clive, is there a category on this site called controversial topics? Or is it another way of calling recycle bin? If there's a forum/ place for these topic, could you tell me where? I'm interested in checkingn it out .

Yes, N2G, it's in the debate area.

That's where this thread will soon be moving.
