'bad-mouth' as a verb meaning 'criticize'
Is it AmE and not used in the UK?
Thank you.

Hello Itasan

You hear it a little in BrE; though often perhaps with a sense that it's "American".

I see. Thank you very much, MrPedantic.

Do you pronouce the last 'th' as in 'bathe; smooth' or as in 'Smith; tooth'?

Bad-mouth is used quite commonly in the U.S.

It is pronounced just like in 'mouth' or as in 'Smith' or 'tooth.'

To err is human, to forgive divine. 잘못을 저지르는 것은 인간이지만 용서할수있는 것은 하늘과 같은것.
