Hi,
I thought what we put after the words like 'help' or 'helping' is a bare infinitive without a to-infinitive, but I came upon this.

He is/was helping them (finish??) to finish their homework early.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'
